The project entails the construction of a new residential scheme of 287 residential units, a creche to accommodate 23 staff and 115 children and a substation all in the form of six new Blocks (Blocks H, J, M, N, P & Q) ranging in height from 1 to eleven storeys. The residential units are in Blocks (H, J, M & N) with the creche in Block P and the Substation in Block Q.
A basement area is provided below Blocks H, J & M at level 00, which provides for; 84 car parking spaces, 518 bicycle spaces, 5 motor cycle spaces, Waste Management areas and plant areas
Mechanical Services
ENGdoc acted on behalf of the Mechanical contractor to ensure delivery of the co-ordination and builderswork as well as detailed apartment layouts for all unit types. The project involved working alongside the main contractor and engaging in regular co-ordination meetings in order to resolve clashes and issues within the model prior to construction.
BIM Compliance
Our remit included ensuring our client met all of their BIM obligations throughout the course of this project. This included carrying out regular clash detections, auditing of models, uploading to the site common data environment (CDE) and attendance at regular BIM meetings.
