Engineering Documentation Ltd. are a trusted and certified provider of BIM support within the construction industry. The company was founded in 2006 by David Mullen and Tim King, initially to address a gap in the market around the production of high-quality O&M manuals and drawings. With the majority of our clients coming from mechanical and electrical backgrounds, the inclusion of drawing production for services co-ordination and builderswork was a natural progression.
As the use of Building Information Modelling became more widespread within the industry, the company leveraged its expertise within the drawing sector to focus more on this element of BIM and currently offers a full range of BIM support and drawing services to its clients. This includes modelling, MEP co-ordination, point cloud & drone surveys as well as general drawing support and visualisation.
The company developed a training centre which was certified as an Autodesk ATC (Authorised Training Centre) in 2016. This centre now facilitates both internal and external training in Autodesk drawing products including AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, Navisworks and BIM360.
Our company now employs 35 staff who bring a range of skills to the table. All drawing works are carried out from our head office in Sligo town. All our drawing team undergo our in-house training programme and are Autodesk certified prior to engaging in client work. We have a range of instructors, leads, co-ordinators and technicians who will aim to provide the most efficient and effective method of working with our clients on their projects.
