This project involved the construction of a new Garda Divisional HQ building in Wexford town. Our services to the mechanical contractor included survey, co-ordination and 'as built' drawings as well as a full project O&M manual to BG1/2007.
As part of the co-ordination process, we carried out a point cloud scans on areas which required detailed services configuration. This ensured that existing site conditions were accurately recorded prior to commencing spatial co-ordination. We were then able to set out ventilation ducts, electrical containment and wet services in an organised and clash free arrangement.
Once installation was complete, we carried out our 'as built' site survey where all modifications to the initial design were recorded. This was presented for inclusion in the handover pack ready for use by the client. These drawings enable those tasked with facilities management to have an accurate record of the services installation. It also allows us to include information on plant tags or equipment notations. A full set of services schematics were also produced for all plant areas.
This information, together with testing and commissioning records were handed over to the end user as part of our Mechanical O&M Manual. As with all our O&M's, the final document includes a comprehensive description of operation, full equipment schedules as well as site specific maintenance and fault finding routines.
