This project consisted of the construction of a cleanroom within an existing pharmaceutical plant and the provision of services to that cleanroom from existing supplied. All services were routed above the cleanroom on a walk-on ceiling dropping down to the points of use where required.
The volume and complexity of the services running above the cleanroom required the building to be modelled in 3D for co-ordination and record purposes. This process also give the client visualisation of how the project would turn out and they were able to give meaningful contributions towards the co-ordination before any construction took place. ENGdoc worked on behalf of the building and mechanical contractors and managed the model co-ordination to finalise layouts and eliminate clashes prior to commencing on site.
